The award is in recognition of the completion and commissioning of the Integrated Waste Heat Recovery system at Safran Landing System Malaysia (SLSM) in Sendayan Tech Valley, Seremban, Malaysia.
The plant, the first of its kind in Malaysia, involves the utilization of waste gas production to generate approximately 20% of the client power demand. The cutting-edge technology involves the installation of a Thermal Oil Heaters and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) Turbine, provided by Turboden S.p.A, Italy an acknowledge leader in the provision of such technology. The plant’s emissions CO2 is also reduced significantly by 73% on installation of such advanced technology.
